Sheep Springs Horse Camp-Deschutes National Forest

SEASON: May to October

LOCATION: 5 miles northwest of Camp Sherman

ACCESS: from Sisters, 12.4 miles northwest on Hwy. 20, then 7.0 miles north on F.S. Rd. 12, then 1.1 miles west on F.S. Rd. 1260, and then a mile north on F.S. Rd. 1260 200

ELEVATION: 3200 feet

FACILITIES: vault toilets, four-place box stalls at each site, potable hand pumped water, creek water for livestock

SITES: 10 RV/Trailer/Tent

MAXIMUM SPUR LENGTH: 40 feet

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES: Metolius-Windigo and Bear Valley trails

OPERATED BY: Hoodoo Recreation Services

FEE: per night per site

$16.00 first vehicle and $8.00 each additional vehicle
